Shirley Mae Koch (nee Flesch), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Arthur Koch; cherished daughter of the late William and Edna Flesch; devoted mother of David (Susan) Koch, Diane (Peter) Gavornick, Barbara (James) Colson, and Steven (Susan Townsend) Koch; loving grandmother of Jackie Turner, Robert Koch, Michael (Shannon) Gavornick, Jeffrey (Maria Collins) Gavornick, Laura (Justin) Browning, Jamie Colson, Evan Colson, William (Lorena) Koch, Emma (Ieuan) Evans-Wicks, Daniel Koch, and Sam Koch; treasured great grandmother of Christiana Turner, Ashyln Gavornick, Allison Gavornick, Annalise Gavornick, Corinne Gavornick, Jack Gavornick, Max Browning, and Ben Browning; dears sister of Don (Claudette) Flesch, Rosalie Van Well, Marsha Schaffner, the late William Flesch, and the late Marilyn Rieff.

Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
