Broeker, Shirley Jean, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 78. Loving wife of Melvin Joseph Broeker; beloved daughter of the late Archie and Elsie Dickey; devoted mother of Gregory (Cathy Newman) Broeker, Gena (Mike) Broeker Magee, Debra Broeker Woodard, Douglas (Melody) Broeker, Sheila (Robert) Broeker Roden, and Norman Broeker; cherished grandmother of Christine (Kurt) Logue, Justina (Joel) Stephens, Tosha (Keith) Jones, Mishia (Shane) Wilson, Kyle Broeker, Kameron Broeker, Mariah Broeker, Chloe Roden, Megan Vaccaro, Michael Vaccaro, Andrew Broeker, Tabitha Broeker, and Tara Broeker; treasured great-grandmother of Alexis Logue, Katelynn Logue, Kurt Logue, Jr., Jacob Stephens, Jalyn Stephens, Thomas Wilson, Scott Jones, Wyatt Broeker, Levi Broeker, and Ella Vaccaro; dear sister of Dorothy (Stanley) Spotswood. She is preceded in death by her siblings Frank Dickey and Evelyn Temple. Shirley was a member of Salt River Christian Church.
