Shirley Elmira Marti (nee- Springmeier)

Marti, Shirley Elmira (nee: Springmeier), of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the age of 83. Dearest wife of the late Virgil Melvin Marti Sr.; dear daughter of the late Edward and Elmira Springmeier (nee: Fricke); cherished mother of Virgil Marti, Jr. Shirley was also a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Roland and Robert Springmeier and sister, Jane Saliares. Shirley worked as a Technical Illustrator with McDonnell Douglas previous to becoming a homemaker. Memorials may be made to the USO.
