Shirley A. Bohnert

Shirley A. Bohnert (nee Gebhardt), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Joseph Earl Bohnert; devoted daughter of the late Gilbert and Marie Gebhardt; loving mother of Brenda (Randy) Sanders, Kimberly (Wally) Kolkmeier, and Bonnie (Jerry) Brown; cherished grandmother of Chad (Kaysha) Sanders, Benjamin (Annie) Sanders, Dusty (Chelle) Sanders, Wally (Ali) Kolkmeier, Wendy (Corey) Tucker, Gary (Kara) Frick, Adam (Bria) Frick, Jamie Aslin, Ashley (Luke) Schroeder, Justin (Hannah) Brown, and Jesse Brown; precious great-grandmother of 19; dear sister of Dolores Bohnert, Debbie Dennis, the late Catherine Buerck, Sonny Gebhardt, Ronald Gebhardt, and Jerry Gebhardt; and dear aunt, cousin, and friend of many. 

Shirley was married to her husband, Joseph, for 66 years. She was a devoted woman of faith and a proud member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Cottleville for over 60 years. Shirley made sure to instill this faith within her children and grandchildren, who she loved very dearly.  

In her free time, she enjoyed family time, quilting, sewing, cooking, and baking.  

Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Cottleville.
