Shirley Ann Mecker passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the age of 80. Loving wife of Paul E. Mecker; beloved daughter of the late Oscar and Ruth Probst; loving mother of Steve (Cindy) Mecker, Cindy (George) Basye, and Rex (Karen) Mecker; cherished grandmother of Brian, Jeff, Laura, Kim, Kelly, Brittany, Nicole, Brett, and Troy; treasured great-grandmother of Peyton, Alexis, Alyssa, Anna, Hunter, Sawyer, Madison, Jaxson, Chase, Jake, and Avery; and dear sister of Oscar (Alma) Probst, Jr. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Carrol.
Shirley was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Paul and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas when the family would all be together. Shirley was a beautiful person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association- St. Louis Chapter.
