Preceded in death by parents Harry F. and Frieda Mayfield and brother Harry F. Mayfield. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church for 30 years where he was very active. He enjoyed volunteering as a tax consultant through AARP. He also enjoyed doing genealogy and gardening.
