Shelby Jean Smith

Smith, Shelby J. (nee: Lusher), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the age of 75. Loving wife of the late Charles Smith, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Everett and Mabel Lusher; devoted mother of Donna Smith, Sandra (Dewey) Smith-Mundwiller, Charles (Phyllis) Smith, Jr., Jeanne (Glenda) Smith, Lisa (Craig) Parres, and Bridget (Jim) Harr; cherished grandmother of 16; treasured great-grandmother of 6; dear great-great-grandmother of 2; special friend and significant other of James L. “Jim” Roberds; and also a beloved aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and dear friend to many. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tina Marie Smith and her siblings, Donald Lusher and Jean Lusher-Fossell.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army of O’Fallon, Boys Town of Missouri, or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
