Moss, Sharon, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 68. Devoted partner of John Mayes; dear daughter the late William H. and Minnie Hawkins; loving mother of Lisa Johnson and Kenneth Moss; dear sister of John Carpenter, Sandra Smith, Judy Carpenter, Johnny Griffith, Barbara Jones, Tom Higgenbotham, Tony Higgenbotham, Debra Barnhill, Tim Higgenbotham, and Terry Higgenbotham; cherished grandmother of Daniel Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Matthew Price, and Jonathan Price. She is preceded in death by her birth mother Phyllis Sheets, her sister Pamela Carpenter-Miller, and former husband Eugene Moss, Jr.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missouri Botanical Gardens or the American Diabetes Association.
