Sharon F. Lawton

Sharon F. Lawton (Abney), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Earl Lawton; cherished daughter of Buell and Flora Abney; devoted mother of Annetta (Dan) Hope, Michelle (Tim) Smith, and David (Jody) Lawton; loving grandmother of Alexandria (Jake) Ward, Gabrielle (Kevin) Oliphant, Meghan (Cameron) Bradshaw, and Ryan Lawton; great-grandmother of Savannah Ward, Grant Ward, Kruz Oliphant, and Aubree Bradshaw; dear twin sister of Marian (the late Don) Williams.

Sharon was a loving, witty, and beautiful soul who embraced life and brought joy to those around her. She was married for 36 wonderful years to Earl, and cherished time spent with her family, including memorable trips to Florida and dancing with her sister Marian. Sharon enjoyed knitting, creating stained glass art, attending Cardinals games as a devoted sports fan, and the occasional visit to the casino. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Sharon's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
