Sharon Lee Buddemeyer

Sharon “Sherry” Lee Buddemeyer (nee Gainer), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 56 years to Elton Buddemeyer; cherished daughter of the late Eugene “Gene” and Bernice Gainer; devoted mother of Denise (Scott) Beck; loving grandmother of Daniel M. Beck and Ashley (William) Moore; and dear sister of the late Eugene "Gene" Gainer; treasured aunt, cousin and friend.

Sherry was an amazing cook who loved hosting, creating lasting memories around the table. She felt most at home at the lake, where she enjoyed water skiing and soaking in the outdoors. In retirement, she and Elton traveled across the United States, taking cruises and enjoying many vacations together. Sherry had a deep love for animals, especially her cat Yadi and her guinea pigs, Vegas and Lucky. Strong in her faith, she cherished her family and took great pride in her daughter and grandchildren. She found joy in crossword puzzles, bird watching, dancing, and peaceful moments in nature, and she never passed up the chance to stroll through a Walmart with Elton. Sherry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
