Sharon Eileen Akers (nee Scarry), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved partner of Dave Wehmeier; devoted daughter of the late Robert J. and Bernice C. Scarry; dear sister of Michael D. (Nancy nee Kruep) Scarry, Patrick (Alice nee Wilke) Scarry, Robert (Debbie nee Cox), and William L. Scarry. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Sharon enjoyed going fishing. She loved to bake homemade bread and her raisin cakes were a staple around Christmas time. Sharon loved her dogs. She enjoyed watching nature programs and going shopping. Sharon had a good heart that was cherished by those she shared it with.
Sharon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Sharon's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
