Scott Michael McNevin

Scott Michael McNevin, 53, of St. Charles, Missouri, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Scott was born January 5, 1970, in St. Charles, Missouri.  He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1988 where he excelled in wrestling and football.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Missouri State University where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was a loving father, a friend to many, and enjoyed working in sales for most of his career. He was a member of Harvester Christian Church of St. Charles, Missouri.

His favorite hobbies were fishing, gardening and yardwork, detailing vehicles, and spending time with his family. When his children were younger, he really loved coaching his son in both wrestling and football, serving as a Cub Scout leader, and watching his daughter compete in gymnastics. He was also a talented builder and handyman.

Survivors include his parents Charles and Leah Kay (Scoggin) McNevin, daughter Kaylee (Hunt) Nagy, son Ethan McNevin, brother Jeff (Nancy) McNevin, sister Jennifer (Matt) Hageman, nieces Maggie and Katie McNevin, and Olivia and Grace Hageman.

A visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, Missouri.  The funeral will also be held at Baue Funeral Home on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10 a.m., with graveside service to follow at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Pastor Pat Campbell will be officiating.

Scott was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
