Sarge M. Ball

Sarge M. Ball, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the age of 77. Cherished son of the late David and Shirley Ball; devoted father of Andrew (Katy) Ball, Lauren (Michael) Holbrook and the late Kristie Ball; loving grandfather of Clara Ball, Miriam Ball, Valerie Ball, Mikey Holbrook and Kennedy Holbrook; dear brother of Sharon (Gary) Rhodes and the late James Ball.

Sarge proudly and honorably served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a BT3.

He was a funny, outgoing man who had a gift for making people laugh. Loud, talkative, and genuinely friendly, he never met a stranger and could brighten any room with his personality. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, where he felt most at home.

More than anything, Sarge cherished his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He enjoyed reading and took great joy in reading stories to his grandbabies, creating memories they will carry with them forever.

Sarge was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, kindness, and love for life will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Memorials may be made in Sarge's name to Tunnel to Towers and Meals on Wheels St. Peters.
