Sandra Lee (nee: Wonsewitz) Edmonds, of New Florence, Missouri, formerly of Nitro, West Virginia, died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 68. Dear daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Wonsewitz; devoted mother of Perry Arnhold Smith, Kevin Sean Dandois, Susan Michelle (Alan) Perdue, Julie JoAnna (Mike) Schmierbach, and David Lawrence Edmonds; loving life partner of Daniel Lawrence Edmonds; cherished grandmother of Christopher, Cody, Katelyn, Alexander, Cameron, Kandis, Kory, Joshua, and Janelle; treasured great-grandmother of Bailie, Adalee, Kynnedi, and Trevor; dear sister of Charles (Donna) Wonsewitz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters Roberta Howery and Shirley Cox-Scarlet.
Sandy was a barber for many years and owned Sandy's Barber Shop in St. Albans, West Virginia. She loved researching genealogy, making cards, drawing, painting, crocheting, needlepoint, and writing letters. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
