In Loving Memory of Sandra “Sandy” Ellen Leary

Born in Lowell, MA, Sandy grew up in Nashua NH and attended Mount Hope School. Sandy was a special needs person who ironically, made everyone she met feel special.

Sandy was very active in Community Living under the PEP program. She attended many dance and holiday functions with them and made many friends. She would always brighten a room with her smile and she was famous for her hugs.

She always enjoyed her shopping and lunch outings with her friends from PEP along with the many Friday night dances and holiday events they put on. Sandy was always known as the unofficial photographer at each event.

She was always the center of attention at family gatherings during the holidays, especially at Christmas.

She loved family time with all of her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

She has 7 nieces and nephews along with 20 great nieces and nephews and 1 great, great nephew.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Lambert Leary, William Francis Rowe and Gloria Frances Leary Rowe.

A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on 16 Oct 26 at The O’Fallon Elks Lodge from 6-11 pm.

Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.

Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her smile, laughter and the love for her family will remain in our hearts forever.
