Sammy Joe Roach

Sammy Joe Roach, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Mary Roach; devoted father of Nick Roach, and Dallas (Abigail Mahoney) Roach; loving grandfather of Niko Roach, and Archer Roach; dear brother of Tony (Lois) Anzalone; treasured nephew of Janis Henry.

Sammy was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he earned the AF Achievement Medal with 1 device, AF Longevity Service Award, AF Training Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 1 device, National Defense Service Medal, Small Arms Expert marksmanship, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal. He devoted many years as the Director of Maintenance at TNI where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact.

In his free time, Sammy loved playing pool, rocking out on his electric guitar, and listening to his favorite music, including KISS and Randy Rhoads. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan who also enjoyed hunting, bird watching, and finding peace in nature, as well as the occasional golf game. Sammy loved having fun, and making others smile. He had a special love for dogs and cherished his beloved companion, Chewy. Sammy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Sammy's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
