Sam Plank, Jr.

Plank, Jr., Sam, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 84. Beloved son of the late Theren Sr. and Era Plank; devoted father of Missy (Doug)  Hollie and Sharie (Ken) Schlereth; cherished grandfather of Ryan Fitzgerald, Megan (Chris) Fitzgerald-Boller, and AJ Schlereth; treasured great-grandfather of Devahn Blount, Kaitlyn Fitzgerald, and Ashlyn Fitzgerald; former spouse of Earline "Pudge" Plank; dearest friend of many. He is preceded in death by his son Michael T. Plank. Sam proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict and he was a member of the Moolah Shriners.
