Sam Salvatore DiCarlo

Sam Salvatore DiCarlo, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Elaine DiCarlo; beloved son of the late Rosaria and Biaggio DiCarlo; devoted father of Steve (Kathy) DiCarlo; cherished grandfather of Josh (Elisabeth) DiCarlo, and Becky (Nick) Connors; treasured great-grandfather of Sammy DiCarlo, Enzo DiCarlo, Oliver Connors, Lyla Connors, and Myles Connors; dear brother of Louis DiCarlo and Anthony DiCarlo. Sam is also preceded in death by his siblings, Jack DiCarlo; Lee Kauffmann, Kay Roehrich, Mae Tregessor, and Marie Sansone. He was a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. 

Sam proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a devout Catholic and his faith was something he instilled with his family as well. Sam loved to spend time with family and friends at Lake of the Ozarks. You could often find him fishing, working on a new woodworking project, or telling a good joke with a cigar in his hand. Sam was very jovial and loved to make everyone smile. He was very welcoming and made everyone feel comfortable with his presence. Sam always put others before himself and loved his family more than anything. Sam was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
