Salvador “Sal” Padilla Bertubin Jr., age 71, of Crestview, FL, passed away on July 30, 2017 in Crestview, FL.
Salvador was born in Buting, Pasig City, Philippines to Salvador and Numeriana Bertubin on May 20th, 1946. Salvador graduated high school in the Philippines and he held degrees from colleges in the Philippines and United States as an Electrician. Salvador married Lillian Doris Erhart in July 1969. Salvador worked as a Team Leader for General Motors Assembly in Wentzville, MO for 22 years before retiring and moving to Crestview, Florida. Salvador was a veteran of USCG where he served 11 years and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and numerous Coast Guard Unit Commendation Ribbons.
Salvador is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Lillian Bertubin.
Salvador is survived by Salvador H. Bertubin III (Teresa), Linda (Rich) Kennon, and Eric (Dana) Bertubin. His sisters and brothers Tita Hardesty, Nelia Bertubin, Wilma and Bud McCutcheon, Winnie and Pat Grahm, Danny and Merlinda Bertubin, Elena and Thomas Reckner, Emanuel and Cynthia Bertubin, Jonathon Bertubin, and Charles Bertubin and 9 grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on August 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
