Usai, Sally Ann (nee: Chittum), of O’Fallon, MO, died on April 5, 2017. Sally was the daughter of the late Eldon M. and Hilda L. (Howard) Chittum, the dear sister of the late Carol Sue (Robert) Snyder of Ruskin, FL, and Thomas H. (Diana) Chittum of Port Richey, FL.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas E. Usai.
Sally was born in Peru, Indiana, April 9, 1937 and married her one true love on May 25, 1957. Sally was a proud mother, grandmother, and housewife. She taught bible school, was a home maker and enjoyed watching her children play baseball, softball, and soccer. She loved to talk politics and religion and thoroughly enjoyed reading historical fiction, Christian novels, and biographies about political figures. Sally was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church, and a devoted wife and mother.
Sally was the dear mother to David (Frances) Usai, Dana (Don) Milan, Jodi Usai, Carol Sharp, and Carla (Don) Foldy. Dear grandmother to Scott (Tiffany) Turner, Jr., Kyle Turner, Anderson Heintz, Mario and Anthony Usai, Dannielle Sharp, Jared (Shelby) Foldy, and Hannah Foldy, and great-grandmother to Willow, Thomas, and Stella. Sally was a loving aunt to 4 nephews and 3 nieces, great nephews and nieces, and a dear friend to Carmen, Kim, Marlene, and many others.
