Ruthanne Neu

Ruthanne Neu (nee Lentz), passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late Frederick Neu; beloved daughter of the late Robert and Majorie Lentz; devoted mother of Jonathan (Andi ) Neu, the late Meredith Neu, and the late Jeffrey Neu; cherished grandmother of Alexander (Brittany) Neu, Taylor Neu, Christian Neu, and Anna Neu; dear great grandmother of Emory and Dawnson Neu; and dear sister to the late Rebecca Wanamaker and the late Robert Lentz. Ruthanne was a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Ruthanne owned and operated Neu Sales and Marketing with her husband Frederick for over 35 years. A passionate NASCAR fan, she especially loved watching races at Daytona and cheering for her favorite driver, Chase Elliott. Ruthanne found her greatest joy in spending time with her family—she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. A lifelong reader and deeply caring woman, she had a warmth that made everyone feel welcome and a smile that could light up any room. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will never be forgotten.

Memorial donations may be made in Ruthanne’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
