Ruthann Blessing

Ruthann Blessing (nee Callahan), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the age of 91, 6 days shy of her 92nd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Paul Blessing; cherished daughter of the late William and Rose Callahan. Loving mother of Carolyn (Tom) Hughes, and treasured grandmother of Courtney Hughes, Jason (Katie) Hughes, and Julie Hughes; great grandmother of Chase, Travis, and Aiden; great great grandmother of Isaiah. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her five siblings: John (Mickey) Callahan, Margaret (Frank) Brockgreitens, Mary (Lank) Branstetter, Kenneth (Judy) Callahan, and Donald Callahan. 

Ruth loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a special relationship with her granddaughter, Courtney. They not only shared the same birthday, but had a very special bond. She looked forward to her weekly bridge games and lunch outings with her dear friends. She rarely missed watching a Cardinals game and loved a good whiskey sour. 

Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

Memorials may be made in Ruthann's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter or Duchesne High School.
