Ruth E. "Butch" Reinwald

Ruth E. “Butch” Reinwald (nee Kirchoff), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Donald Wilbert Reinwald; cherished daughter of the late Margaret M. and David Kirchoff; devoted mother of Todd Kirchoff; dear sister of Jerry Kirchoff, Ginger (Gregg) Moore, and the late Bill Kirchoff; treasured aunt of Keith Kirchoff, Kelly (Matt) Paden, Jeremy (Misty) Benear, Chad (Alley) Benear, and many great nieces and great nephews; precious friend to many.

Butch attended Assumption Grade School and High School, where she was a cheerleader. She worked for many years at Keithly Davis Funeral Home, followed by Plaza Jewelry and Gift Shops, K-Mart, and Walmart until her retirement. Butch loved baking, especially cookies and homemade candy, and was known for making 17 varieties of candy each Christmas to share with family and friends. She loved to dance, if there was music playing, she was dancing. Her greatest joy was being Todd's mom, and she loved and cared for her family with all her heart. Butch was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
