Ruth Nixon

Ruth Ann Nixon (nee Britt), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Noel Nixon, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Bill and Marie Britt; devoted mother of Mike Nixon and Noël Nixon; loving grandmother of Jesse (Liz) Nixon, Samantha Nixon, Kaitlyn Nixon and Jace Yeager; treasured great-grandmother of Emma Nixon and Rosalee Nixon; dear sister of Viola Esterline, Brenda Lampley, Donna Tremaine, Laverne Reynolds, Gwen Wideman, Stevie Kiper, the late Barbara Schmuhl and the late Shirley Robinson.  

Ruth was the most loving and caring person; she was an amazing mother and wife. She was a very strong, independent woman and would help anyone she could. Ruth worked in nursing homes for over 7 years. She loved her job because she could help people in need. Ruth was a nurturer and loved babysitting kids. 

Ruth frequented yard sales because she enjoyed finding good deals. She could cook or bake anything and was well known for her Thanksgiving meals. 

Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Ruth's name to American Diabetes Association.
