Ruth L. Swantner

Ruth L. Swantner (nee Boland), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the age of 87. Loving wife of Husband, Robert J. Swantner, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late John V. and Francis Boland; devoted mother of Diane Koch and the late Robert James "Jim" Swantner, III; cherished grandmother of Erin Kenawell, and Bryan (Molly) Koch; treasured great-grandmother of Kindall and John Kenawell, Kaylee, Lilly, Tyson, and Tenley Koch; dear sister of Mary Elizabeth (Al) Panke, Grace (the late Charlie) Panke; sister-in-law of Rosemary Boland; mother-in-law of Karen (Gary) Springer; beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Joanne Swantner; great-grandson, Brady Koch; two Brothers, Linde (Lou) Boland, and John "Jr." Boland; and an infant sister.

Ruth was active in the Cardinal Motor Club Chapter #174. She loved bowling, camping, traveling, and cooking. Most important to Ruth was her family and friends. Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
