Ruth Ann Geiss

Ruth Ann Geiss (nee Heidman), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Geiss; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Rose Heidman; devoted mother of Frank (Natalie Pappacoda) Dooling and Amy (Michael) Lucido; loving grandmother of Emily (Jeramy) Johnston, Anna (Dylan Hetelle) Orr, Aiden Dooling, Aaron Dooling, Zoey Lucido and Noelle Lucido; treasured great-grandmother of Maisie Johnston, Hallee Johnston, Graham Johnston and Kai Hetelle; dear sister of the late James Heidman.

Ruth dedicated much of her time to working with animal rescue groups and the St. Charles Animal Shelter, reflecting her deep compassion for animals. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Ruth was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
