Russell H. Place

Place, Russell H., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the age of 83. Dearest husband of Thelma Place (nee: Livengood) for 62 years; dear son of the late Russell Harland and Bama Place; devoted father of Russell J. (Yvonne) Place, Connie (Dennis) Gamache, Barbara Robertson, Robert D. Place and the late Michael D. Place; beloved grandfather of several Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Russell was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during WWII in the Pacific Theatre, US Navy Veteran; US Air Force Veteran; US Army Aviation System Command Civil Service and a member of the VFW. He received numerous awards, decorations and honors for his personal service. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
