Russell Marvin Farrah

Russell Marvin Farrah, of Winfield, MO, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Bonnie Lee Farrah; devoted son of the late John Marvin and Ruby Lois Farrah (nee Smith); cherished father of Randall (the late Lisa) Farrah, Gregory Farrah, and the late Kevin Scott Farrah; loving grandfather of Jeff (Lauryn) Farrah, Megan Farrah, and great-grandfather of Daphne Maeve Farrah and Elora Wren Farrah; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by four brothers, Charles Farrah, James Farrah, Stanley Farrah, and Lyndell Farrah.

Russell proudly served in the United States Navy as a Storekeeper Petty Officer Third Class after graduating from Mexico High School in 1944. He enjoyed a long career in industrial X-ray at McDonnell Douglas, where he worked for 35 years before retiring. Russell was married to the love of his life, Bonnie, for 62 years before her passing in 2021. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking his sons hunting and fishing, as well as camping and canoeing. He also enjoyed gardening, attending auto shows, and admiring classic cars. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, Russell held season tickets and made several trips to Jupiter, Florida, to attend spring training. He and Bonnie enjoyed traveling and going on cruises together. Most of all, Russell cherished his family and especially loved entertaining and playing with his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart. Family was extremely important to him, and he always looked forward to attending family reunions. Russell was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
