Royce E. Melton

Royce E. Melton, age 83, of St. Charles, Missouri, August 11, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Melton; cherished son of the late John W. and Nellie Mae Melton; devoted father of Don Melton, Kelly (Brian) Zimmermann, and Kari (Mike) Miller; loving grandfather of Jami (Brian) Cowell, Lacie (Mike) Rau, Nicholas (Candice) Zimmermann, and Randy and Trevor Miller; and treasured great-grandfather of Kolten Rau.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, John Melton, Vernon Melton, Anna Mae Whitlock, William Melton, and Donald Melton.

Royce was a member of the Knights of Columbus #7198 and Carpenters Local 1987. He was also very involved with Community Living, Inc. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, and camping. Royce also enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. He was a man strong in his faith and was very devoted to his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
