Roy William Zirges

Roy William Zirges, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Nancy Zirges; cherished son of the late Harold and Louisa Zirges; devoted father of Elizabeth “Beth” (Scott) Suttmoeller; loving grandfather of Ky-Lee (Ethan) Dillon; great-grandfather of Olivia and Kinsley Dillon; dear brother of Donna (The late Bill) Hazelhorst; uncle of Kim (Randy) Ervin and Gena Kulesza; great-uncle of Rachel, Katie, and Justin; cousin to many.

Roy was dedicated to serving his community and giving back to others. He served on the Tree Board of the Missouri Extension, as well as the board for the Delta Center, and was actively involved in the OASIS reading program. In his free time, Roy found great joy in gardening, tinkering with projects, working in his garage, and repairing small engines. He had a true passion for classic cars and especially cherished his old classic Mustang, which brought him much happiness as he enjoyed attending car shows and sharing his love of automobiles with others. Whether lending a helping hand, working on a project, or enjoying the simple pleasures of life, he made lasting memories with those around him. Roy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
