Roy D. Lively

Roy D. Lively was a much beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He died on October 25, 2019 at the age of 91. He lived a wonderfully full life. He was born and raised in Houston, AR. He married Kathleen when he was 21 and she was 16 and they were married 70 years. Roy is survived by his wife and two children, Karan Schmidt and William (Bill) Lively.  He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Joe Schmidt, Dr. Amy Schmidt, Brandon Lively, and Brandy Dansby, and 14 great-grandchildren. Roy owned his own business, Lively Hauling, and worked as a truck driver until he retired. He enjoyed gardening, rehabbing houses, and spending time with his family. Roy was one of the most giving and compassionate individuals and the world is bereft of his absence. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Memorials may be made in Roy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
