Rosemary Popp

Rosemary Regina Popp (nee Huhmann), died January 9, 2024, at age 87. Beloved wife of Robert for 65 yrs. Beloved mother of Joe Popp, Jeffrey (Nancy) Popp, Shirley (Michael) Fefferman, Andrew (Maylen) Popp - James (Wendy) Popp, Keith Popp and David (Aimee) Popp. Dear grandmother of Haley, Emily, Weston, Sam, Kurt, Robin, Eli, Archie, Lucy, Oscar, and Daisy.

Rosemary was born near St. Elizabeth MO to Joe M. and Mary (Luebbert) Huhmann the sixth of eight children. She attended Lurton grade school, a one room schoolhouse, and St. Elizabeth High School. She received a degree from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Kansas City MO. She devoted most of her life to being a homemaker for her husband Robert and their seven children. In retirement she appreciated the opportunity to attend Mass and did so daily if possible. She also enjoyed walking, yard work, card games, golf, dancing and traveling (good thing since all but one of her children and none of her grandchildren live nearby).
