Rosalie "Rose" Sage

Rosalie “Rose” Sage (nee Clauso), of St. Peters, MO passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Sage; cherished daughter of the late William "Willy" and Matilda "Millie" Clauso; devoted mother of Mike (Nancy) Sage and Donna (John) Chaffee; loving grandmother of Jacqueline (Danny) Kosel, Stephanie Sage, and Shawn (Rae) Chaffee; treasured sister of G. Susanne (nee Clauso) Odenweller, and sister-in-law of Herman Odenweller. Rose was also a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Rose was a kind and caring woman whose life was built on strong faith and deep love for her family. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in helping others, especially through her volunteer work with Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Services, Adopt a Family, and support of the No Hunger Holiday initiative.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life— reading, learning about history, and listening to 50s music. Rose spoke fondly of volunteering with the USO and attending dances in her youth where she met Bob. She loved to dance, travel, and spend time with her grandchildren, who brought her great happiness.

Rose also had a special fondness for antiquing and collecting treasured items. She was always there to support and care for those around her, and her warm heart made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Rose was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
