St. Peters, Missouri

Rosalie Margaret Halligan (nee Sullivan), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Halligan; cherished daughter of the late Peter and Hazel Sullivan; devoted mother of Larry (Nancy) Halligan, Linda (Thomas) Garofalo, Laura (Steve Facchin) Meyer and Lea Anne (Robert) Callanan; loving grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of ten.

Rosalie's warm and gentle personality endeared her to all who crossed her path. Her unwavering kindness touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she encountered. To know Rosalie was to love her, as her genuine compassion and caring nature shone brightly in everything she did.

One of Rosalie's greatest joys in life was cooking for everyone, her delicious meals were not only a feast for the taste buds but also a reflection of her love and devotion to her family. Additionally, she found comfort and happiness in crocheting blankets for everyone, filling each stitch with love and warmth that will continue to wrap around her loved ones like a comforting embrace.

Throughout her life, Rosalie's proudest accomplishments centered around her role as a devoted matriarch. She carried herself with grace and poise, embodying the essence of a grand lady. Her dedication to protecting and nurturing her family knew no bounds, earning her the admiration and respect of all who knew her.

Rosalie leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of her surviving family members and friends. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable woman, we find solace in knowing that Rosalie's spirit will continue to guide us with its unwavering light.
