Ronald Russell Mueller

Ronald "Ron" Russell Mueller, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Born on October 2, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Russell and Lavaun Mueller, Ron lived a life marked by dedication, integrity, and deep love for his family.

A lifelong engineer, Ron worked for Martin Marietta Corporation (Lockheed Martin) and McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) before retiring in 1994. Ron and Bev made their home in St. Louis, Missouri, and after retirement enjoyed spending winters in Harlingen, Texas. In recent years, he returned to Indiana.

Ron found joy in camping, country line dancing, golf, chess, and time spent with friends His steady presence, humor, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a dedicated Father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, H. Beverly Mueller, and by his brother, Dale (Phyllis) Mueller. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Carlo) Van Rijk and Laura (Craig) Ewald; his sister, Suzanne (Don) Craig; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
