Ronald T. Harper, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 62 ½ years to Marilou Harper; cherished son of the late Mildred Harper; devoted father of Dan (Lisa) Harper and Matt (Carin) Harper; loving grandfather of Katie (Spencer) Austin, Matt Harper, Anna Harper and Zach Harper; dear brother of Shirley Kay (Bill) Woolf and the late Sherman Ray Shook. Ron was a friend to many.
Ron proudly and honorably served in the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville. Ron enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball and developing the Northside Youth Association. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was a member of Gideon International for over 20 years. He was a founding member of S.O.C.Ks (Serving our Community Kids) and was a part of “The Grumpy Old Men”, a construction ministry helping women and children.
Ron loved his granddogs, his family and his faith. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family, and having lunch with ROMEO’s (Retired Old Men Eating Out).
