Ronald Patrick Cretin

Ronald Patrick Cretin, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Duru “Sony” Sakhrani MD; cherished son of the late Rudolph Farrell and Eleanor Blanche Cretin; devoted father of Katherine Cretin; loving grandfather of Sophia Rauda; dear brother of Paul Cretin; treasured brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Ronald enjoyed his job at AT&T and in 1995 he retired from the treasury department after 34 years of service. 

Ronald and his close circle of friends, fondly known as “The OFAGLA group,” shared a special bond, meeting monthly for lunch and enjoying each other’s company for over five decades. Known as the technology guru for both his family and neighbors, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Ronald loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and floating down the Current River. A giving and practical man, he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a food bank.
