Rodger G. Shelp

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. Beloved father of Scott G. Shelp, René E. Baumgartner (Michele), Rebecca E. Mumford (Aaron), and Timothy N. Shelp (Hannah); loving son of the late Edwin G. Shelp (and the still surviving Norma) and Marguerite Johnson (and the still surviving C. William Johnson); former husband of Donna Snider and Patricia Parker; proud grandfather of Maverick Shelp, Jackson Mumford, Emily Mumford, Fiona Shelp, and Preston Baumgartner; dear brother of Susan Lynch (Edward). Mr. Shelp served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. He was an advertising manager for the Sears and Kroger Companies and the former owner of the Huck Finn Restaurant in St. Charles. He also enjoyed cooking and traveling.
