Roberta LuVern Schultz (nee Swanson), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Harold R. Schultz; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Verna Swanson. Devoted mother of Kimberly LuAnn (James) Pitcher, Sheryl Ann (Daniel) Wilmes, and Lori Ann (Jamie) Carter; loving grandmother of Zach (Jackie) Pitcher, Ben (Julie) Pitcher, Dusty (Lara) Wilmes, Jordy (Alicia) Wilmes, Sammy Wilmes, Wes (Megan) Carter, Justin Carter, Lauren Carter and the late Casey Wilmes; treasured great-grandmother and GiGi of Laila Dry, Charley Dry, Colby Wilmes, Nolie Wilmes, Easton Wilmes, Kiley Wilmes, Bailey Wilmes, Parker Wilmes, Lucy Wilmes, Cooper Wilmes, Charlotte Pitcher, Ollie Pitcher and Wilmes granddaughter to be born in November.

 

 

Roberta met the love of her life Harold in 1951 at Fort Leonard Wood when he was a Master Sergeant. They were married May 3rd, 1953. She retired from Contel Telephone company after 20 years. Roberta was a beautiful Seamstress who enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and there wasn't a craft she couldn't do. She was an excellent cook and loved to make wonderful meals for her family. Roberta also loved to travel. She went to Sweden on her 80th birthday to meet her first cousin Fredrik and her father’s extended family. She also loved flowers and gardening. Roberta was a very sweet, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very much devoted to her family. Roberta was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

 

Private services are to be held by family at a later date.
