Rob Weindel, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Sandra Weindel; cherished son of the late Raymond and Betty Weindel; devoted father of Madison Weindel, Alexandra Weindel and the late Megan (Brian) Morford; stepfather of Jonathan Tantype, Nathaniel (Monai) Tantype, Michael Tantype and Nicole Tantype; loving grandfather of Kyra, Parker, Aria, Aurora, Zoey, Jonathan, Jaxon, Adalynn and Amelia; step-grandfather of Marquez, Gabriel, Alanna, Carter, Eli, Isaac and Mila; dear brother of Lawrence Weindel, Marilyn (Bob) Morris, Sharon (Bob) Behnke, Jean (John) Allen and Bill (Karen) Weindel. Rob was an uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Rob dedicated more than 25 years of his career as an IT Engineer with Xerox. A devoted sports fan, he could often be found cheering on the Cardinals, Blues, and Chiefs, watching and playing golf, coaching soccer, or enjoying a game of billiards with his friend Jeff. He especially cherished supporting his children at their sporting events and took great pride in their accomplishments. Rob also loved fishing, attending air shows, traveling to visit family, and creating lasting memories with those he loved.
Rob will be remembered for his gentle heart, unwavering kindness, and genuine sincerity. He had a quiet way of making others feel welcome and at ease, and his sense of humor brought comfort and laughter to those around him. Rob was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished forever. He will be profoundly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Memorials may be made in Rob’s name to Good Shepherd Children and Family Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities.
