Robert W. Snowden

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dorsett Village or Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Bob Snowden, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the age of 79. Dearest husband of Alberta Snowden (nee: Preuett); dear son of the late Charles F. and Alice L. Snowden; devoted father of Ron (Lynn) Snowden, Dan (Terry) Snowden and Brenda (Steve) Hinton; beloved grandfather of 6; dear brother of June Wollenberg and Fred Snowden. Before his retirement, Bob was employed as a teacher at Ferguson/Florissant School District for 32 years. He graduated from William Jewel (BA). Southern Ill University (MS)and Southern Baptist Seminary; he has 2 Masters Degrees; a member of the NEA (National Education Association); Korean War Veterans Association and he enjoyed volunteering at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
