Robert W. Emke

Memorials may be made to Masses (St. Cletus Church), School Sisters of Notre Dame District of Africa or the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Cletus Church. Robert was the beloved son of the late Henry and Catherine Emke; loving husband of Emelia Emke; cherished father of Mary Emke, Sister Ruth Emke, SSND, Carolyn (Bob) Neff, Florence Emke and Ralph (Gayle) Emke; devoted grandfather of Lisa, Kimberly, Lori, Rebecca, Catherine, Anne-Marie, Joseph, Thomas, Julie and Jennifer; dear brother of the late Joseph, Raymond and Matilda Emke and Pauline McGee; dear brother of Clara Emke; dear brother-in-law, uncle and cherished friend to many. Robert was a Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Knight, a sixty year member of American Legion Post 312, St. Cletus Ushers, St. Cletus Men's Club, St. Vincent DePaul Society, White House Retreat League and VFW Post #2866. He was owner/operator of Bob's Shoe Repair in St. Charles, Missouri for 38 years. Robert served in the United States Army from December 16, 1942 to January 19, 1946.
