Robert R. “Bob” Thornhill

Robert R. “Bob” Thornhill, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Nancy K. Thornhill; beloved son of the late John and Mary Thornhill; devoted father of Rob (Indy) Thornhill, Chris (Ginny) Thornhill, Jeff (Dana) Thornhill, and Greg (Ronna) Thornhill; treasured grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 5; and dear brother of Marian, Evelyn, Betty, Eugene, and the late Marcella and Garrett. He was also a loving uncle and friend to many.

Bob was an active member in the St. Charles Optimist Club, life loyal member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, longtime member of the St. Charles Knights of Columbus, and many other professional organizations. He also was a coach in the St. Charles Junior Baseball Association. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing with his friends and family. Bob was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
