Robert James McMillan Jr.

Robert J. “Bob” McMillan Jr., of Dardenne Prairie, MO, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Susan McMillan; cherished son of the late Muriel and Robert McMillan Sr.; devoted father of Jeff (Donna) McMillan and stepfather of Richard "Brook" (Heather) Wooderson, Brittnee (Matt) McDermott, and Brona (Jeff) Groves; loving grandfather of Victoria McMillan, Kyle McMillan, Patrick McDermott, Jacob McDermott, Tyler Sarchett, Colin Sarchett, April (Denny) Hufford, and Camden Wooderson; treasured great grandfather of Beckham Sarchett; and dog dad of his beloved Missy. Robert was also preceded in death by his dear brother, Murray McMillan, and his first wife, Elaine McMillan. 

Bob and Susan shared 27 wonderful years of marriage. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a devoted man of faith, helping to found New Song Church. Bob had a love for travel, especially beach trips, and found joy in boating and spending time on the water. He worked at IBM for over 35 years, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Bob was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
