Robert J. “Bob” Riley, Sr.

Robert J. Riley, Sr. died on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. Robert was a son, husband, father, uncle, cousin, grandfather, great-grandfather, professional baseball player, Navy officer during World War II, glazier, union business agent, chip woodcarver, and RV traveler. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Marie, and his grandson, Jason. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Bob (Jane) Riley and Jeanne Chavers; his grandson, Marcus Chavers; and his great-grandchildren, Mason Dillon and Riley Chavers. Robert is also survived by his three step-daughters, Lesley (Tim) Steele, Kimberly (Pat) Daniels, and Stacy (Charles) Miller and their families. He will be missed by his extended family, the Muellers.
