Robert Hirst

Robert Hirst, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the age of 71. Loving husband of 46 years to Geraldine "Gerri" L. Hirst (nee: Ernst); dear son of the late Robert L. and Irene M. Hirst; devoted father of John (Doug Gasek) Hirst; cherished grandfather of Marcin Gasek-Hirst; dear brother of Pam Cowan, and brother-in-law of Gayle Lyles, Mary Edgley, and Bill Ernst. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Robert was a History Teacher for 26 years. He retired from Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis County. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Diabetes Association.
