Robert Earl Hamilton

Robert (Bob) Hamilton of St. Charles, MO, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 71 years to Betty (Freeman) Hamilton; cherished son of the late Matthew and Cloeta (Dillow) Hamilton; devoted father of Deborah (the late Karl) Weeke, Diane (Matt) Donovan, the late Annette Hamilton, and Robin (Bryan) Bell. Loving grandfather of Vanessa Weeke, Kevin Bell, Sean Donovan, Derek Bell, Nicholas Bell and Lauren Bell. Loving great grandfather of John Bell, Henry Bell, Louis Bell and Charlotte Bell.

Bob was a US Air force Veteran and proudly served as a Lt Colonel in the Air Force Reserves for over 30 years.

He was a faithful member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church, serving as a Deacon and volunteering on several committees.

After retiring from the Air Force in 1960, Bob continued his successful career as a meteorologist working for the National Weather Service. He worked at many locations including Kansas City, New York City, Cleveland and ended his career as Meteorologist in Charge of the St. Louis office. He retired in 1989.

After retiring he enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his family. He was also an avid Illinois University and Lawrenceville High School Basketball fan.

Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials can be made in Bobs' name to the National Heart Association or Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
