Robert Greeley
October 31, 1928 — January 3, 2022
Robert Greeley, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Lydia Greeley; cherished son of the late Harold and Barbara Greeley. Devoted father of Dave (Gail) Greeley; loving grandfather of Douglas (Ashley) Greeley and the late Daniel Greeley; treasured great grandfather of Amelia.
Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a radio technician with a rank of Staff Sargent. He was a member of a VFW where he wrote the newsletter. After his service, Robert joined the St. Louis City Police Department in 1960 where he dedicated over 32 years as a police officer and then retired as a polygrapher.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed genealogy and history. He liked to stay busy and always had a new project around the house. Robert was a handyman and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. Overall, Robert was a supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that loved to spend time with his family and absolutely adored his great granddaughter. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
