Beloved husband of Mary Mazanec Shortal; father of Patrick (Paige) Shortal, Katherine Torrington and Linda (Leo) Appelbaum; grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of three, the love he inspired knows no bounds. With a contagious smile and endearing wit, he will be remembered by all he touched as a warmhearted soul. "It all begins with love."
