Robert Darbinyan

Robert Darbinyan, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Loving husband of the late Vera Darbinyan; beloved son of the late Aghun and Hayk Darbinyan; devoted father of Hasmik (Armen Hakobyan) Darbinyan, Vardan (Hasmik Varosyan) Darbinyan, and Anna (Armen Muradyan) Darbinyan; cherished grandfather of Anush Hakobyan, Erik Hakobyan, Mikayel Darbinyan, Hayk Darbinyan, Lucy Darbinyan, Meline Muradyan, and Sargis Muradyan.

Robert was married to the love of his life, Vera, for 54 wonderful years before her passing. Together, they shared a deep love for traveling and fishing, creating countless memories side by side. Robert was a true craftsman—handy and inventive, with the remarkable ability to build just about anything. From treehouses for his grandchildren to imaginative robotic toys, his creativity and skill were unmatched. A talented welder and tool enthusiast, his workshop was a place of both passion and pride.

Robert had a warm, friendly nature and a great sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He dearly loved his grandchildren and cherished spending time with them—especially watching adventurous movies and sharing his love of reading. An avid reader, Robert enjoyed novels, adventure stories, and studying geography. He also liked to cook now and then, and took great care in tending to his garden and fruit trees back in Armenia.

Robert’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
